CHENGDU

This morning we said goodbye to half of our travel group. It was sad to see them all go, but we are so grateful for the new friends we've made. Three families have continued on together to see Chengdu and then to Guilin. It’s hard to believe that we only have about 5 more days in China before we leave for Vietnam.

Today was another travel day and we spent most of the day in the Xian airport and in the air to Chengdu, so another short blog post. The temperature here is perfect. It’s in the 80’s and just slightly humid. Sichuan is known for its food, especially its spicy chili’s and peppercorns. We had another hotpot dinner tonight and it was delicious. Tomorrow it’s a day at the Panda preserve. We’ll do our best to recap the day’s events and send photos, but we have a late flight tomorrow night and I’m not sure about internet access in Guilin.
